Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company, Huawei Technologies, who recently, took it to Weibo (China’s Twitter) to hype the upcoming device named Honor 7X. Sheduled to launch on October 11, this phone will succeed the popular Honor 6X. The company has been teasing a new smartphone 'Honor 9', which is going to launch in India soon.

Honor India has been releasing so many teasers about its new smartphone 'Honor 9', the device name was unclear until now. The device name was unclear until now. Honor Smartphone’s official Twitter account has accidentally revealed the device name, In a reply to a user’s question. 

Company said in a reply that, they are going to launch the Honor 9 in India on 5th October. Meanwhile, a few minutes later, the official Twitter has deleted that tweet. So that was an accidental revealing. When a user from India asked about the Honor 9’s launch in India, the company replied him that the device will be launched in India on October 5.

Honor 9 sports a 5.15 inch Full HD display. The device’s spec sheet seems similar to Honor 8 Pro. The smartphone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC with 6GB RAM onboard. There is also a 4GB RAM variant, providing internal storage options of 64GB and 128GB. The rear camera is same as we reported earlier, with 20MP + 12MP sensors. 


The 20MP module is defined to capture images, while the 12MP helps to enhance the image with more details as well as Bokeh effect. The secondary camera department on the front panel, made to take selfies carry an 8 Megapixel sensor.

The Smartphone’s pricing details are like the following: RMB 2,299 for 4GB+64GB, 2,699 CNY for 6GB+64GB and 2,999 CNY for 6GB+128GB variant – available in color options of Blue, Black, and Gold. The pricing in India is expected to be at Rs. 22,000 for the base model.
